LeBron James Jokes About Hosting ‘Insane’ NBA Playoffs Show With Former Lakers Teammate Kyle Kuzma

LeBron James and Kyle Kuzma are not playing on the same team, but they have nothing but respect for one another.

The Lakers traded Kuzma, Montrezl Harrell, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope to get Russell Westbrook. Of course, it was a bad trade. Russ failed to meet expectations and didn’t even make an impact in the regular season. Kuzma, on the other hand, had a good season with the Washington Wizards. He was averaging 17.1 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game with the team. Unfortunately, these numbers didn’t help the Wizards make the playoffs.

The Lakers didn’t make the playoffs either. Westbrook had great numbers, too, but he made too many mistakes. Lakers fans were really frustrated. They even called him names. Westbrook’s turnovers made everything worse. He went nuclear on the Lakers franchise, including Frank Vogel, his teammates, and the franchise. Should we really say that Kuzma was a better fit for the Lakers?

LeBron James and Kyle Kuzma had to part ways

Kuzma was brilliant in his first couple of seasons with the Lakers. LeBron’s arrival changed it all. Kuzma struggled to make an impact with the Lakers and his trade didn’t come as a surprise.

LeBron knew that the Westbrook experiment wouldn’t work. Would he ever share the same court with Kuzma? Westbrook may be on his way out. Is Kuzma coming back? We wouldn’t get into this one. We do know that they’d love to start a show and discuss the playoffs. That would be insane! NBA fans wouldn’t miss a chance to watch them discuss NBA teams competing for a title.

LeBron has an incredible relationship with most of his teammates. He threw a goodbye party for Kuzma. They know a lot about the game and their roads will cross again. Will they meet in a show? Will they play together again? There are so many options for both players.

King James finished a disappointing season with the Lakers. He came to LA to win rings and has only won one. The front office will rebuild the roster and get rid of players who failed to make an impact.
