LeBron James Drops Statement On Anthony Davis After Lakers Beat Rockets

The Los Angeles Lakers try really hard to secure their spot in the playoffs. LeBron James and his teammates shocked the Houston Rockets with a big win, moving closer to the playoffs. Will the Lakers make the big game this season? LeBron is happy with the current situation in LA and had great words with the performance Davis had in the win over the Rockets.

“AD was AD,” LeBron said. “AD’s been on a tear, and then, the rest of us, we were just trying to fill in and make up. So, big-time game for us, and we want to try to continue it.”

Davis showed his dominant side once again. He missed a lot of time due to injuries, but he is back in the game. The Lakers struggled early in the season. Davis and his teammates overcame serious obstacles on their way to the top. They may not be the top seed in the Western Conference, but they are trying. It seems like the Lakers have a real chance to fit inside the playoff picture this time.

No one can stop Davis’ fire at this point. Everyone else just adds fuel to keep this fire going. LeBron returned to the game earlier than expected, but hasn’t missed a beat. He stands right next to AD and yes, this duo is lethal. Davis’ monstrous performance against the Rockets will be making headlines for a really long time. He finished the night with 40 points, nine rebounds, one assist, and two blocks on 15-of-20 shooting from the field.

“You can have a lot of success in his league when the ball is popping, and everybody feels in a good rhythm offensively,” LeBron said. “The good thing about our team [is that] we have a lot of firepower, and you can’t just key in on one guy. Obviously, AD is on a tear right now. I can be really good offensively.”

LeBron, Davis, Hachimura and other Lakers players move on to the next opponent after beating the

Rockets Rui Hachimura is a pleasant surprise these days. His performance didn’t go unnoticed and LeBron praised his effort off the bench.

“Game ball definitely goes to Rui for sure,” LeBron said. “I mean, he was all over the floor, not only offensively, but defensively. Big time. A couple big-time blocks, rebounding out of his position.”
