New York Radio Host Takes Vile Shot At Bill Belichick

Radio host Craig Carton is making big noise these days and many people would agree that taking a shot at New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick wasn’t really a smart choice.

Aaron Rodgers parted ways with the Green Bay Packers and joined the New York Jets. It was the loudest news this offseason and yes, FS1’s host used the opportunity to criticize Belichick. He believes that Rodgers didn’t want to have anything to do with the Patriots and their head coach. Oh, come on, we all know that Patriots do things differently, but they built a dynasty just because Belichick is the greatest head coach of all time. Carton can’t go against that.

Angry radio host damages his reputation by trashing Bill Belichick

Carton revealed that the Patriots did an effort to get Rodgers. Trying to get a four-time MVP was a really big move and Belichick decided to give it a try. Why wouldn’t he? Belichick respects great players and Rodgers is one of the better players to ever join the NFL.

According to Carton’s report, the Patriots made an offer to the Packers, but Rodgers decided to “be a Jet.” Rodgers is too proud to go to New England and pick up where Tom Brady left off. The Patriots have Mac Jones, but he struggled in year 2 and Rodgers would’ve been an ideal signal-caller for the Patriots. However, he didn’t feel like finishing his career as a substitute for Brady.

“Those snakes in the grass in New England can never be trusted,” Carton said, (first transcribed by NESN). “I want to think my main man right here, Aaron Rodgers, for recognizing you don’t go play for satan. You don’t go play for sat*n.”

Wow, he really said that…

Well, Belichick is just a strict coach. There are no days off and Patriots players have to try harder and work out even when they are in a winning spree. Plus, Rodgers respects Belichick and calls him a “living legend.” He had his reasons to join the Jets and we won’t dig too dip into that one.

One more thing. Carton damages his reputation by using a hateful rhetoric. We’ll just leave this here.
