Lakers’ Star LeBron James Reacts To Austin Reaves Team USA Debut
Austin Reaves had an expected performance with Team USA and yes, his army of fans is stronger than ever.
Reaves established himself as a fan favorite last season and has definitely made a name for himself.

In the big game with Team USA, the young Laker delivered nine points, four assists, and four rebounds in 19 minutes off the bench. LeBron took notice of his great performance and had an expected reaction. The four-time NBA champion can recognize great players and Reaves is definitely one of a kind.
“A-R you so COLD man!!! #TeamUSA,” LeBron tweeted on August 7.
Warriors head coach and Team USA head coach Steve Kerr had great words for Reaves and his passing game.
“When you have good passers, teams connect quickly,” Kerr said. “And some of these guys have it come so naturally to them, Tyrese (Haliburton), Austin Reaves – these guys are great passers….The whole group is connected and it’s really fun to watch.”
Reaves and Haliburton were lethal on the basketball court. Kerr watched them play their best basketball and it was a great experience for Reaves.

“I think it’s really just playing basketball,” Reaves said. “You got guys like [Haliburton], and he knows how to play the game. It makes it a lot easier for you. So it’s really just about making the right play.”
Austin Reaves stays in the spotlight with his performance with Team USA
Reaves has developed an insane set of skills and he earned his spot on Team USA. He is ready for even greater challenge which is why the Los Angeles Lakers gave him a good contract this summer.
“I played one year of AAU and I used to start,” Reaves said on August 6. “I would walk out on the court, and everybody would be like, ‘Oh, I got the white boy’. And then, three to four possessions later, I’m giving them hell and they’re asking to switch.”
