Lakers’ Austin Reaves Shares True Feelings Of Joining LeBron On 2024 Team USA Olympics Team

Many NBA superstars are rumored to join Team USA in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. LeBron James and Stephen Curry are just two of the names we come across each day. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar has been out of this competition for a really long time, but he flirted with the idea of playing again and winning gold. Curry loves the concept as well and fans can already see him join forces with the kid from Akron. Enter Austin Reaves. He shined with Team USA this summer and gathered an army of fans. Many believe that Reaves will actually join LeBron on Team USA in 2024.

How does Reaves feel about this possibility? We know LeBron likes him and respects his style. Seeing these two on Team USA would be great.

“Obviously if I get the opportunity, great. I understand the caliber of guys that want to play in the Olympics. If I get that call to play, I’ll be the first one to say yes. I’m not realistic of myself sometimes,” said of his chance to travel to Paris.

Twelve top players could play with Team USA in 2024, LeBron and Reaves to join them?

Reaves did a great job at the FIBA World Cup. He was consistent, explosive and yes, he deserves to get a spot on the 2024 roster. Well, if you ask Reaves, he would say that he won’t really make the final cut.

LeBron and Curry could play in 2024 and they may also be joined by Draymond Green, Joel Embiid, Kevin Durant and a few other superstars. If these guys suit up for the big game, Reaves may be left behind despite his great performance. Will he be one of the twelve players to suit up for the game? He averaged 21.8 points and 13.8 points per game in eight games.

We can easily argue that Reaves became a fan favorite this past season. A lot of people like his impeccable style and head coach Darvin Ham appreciates his consistency. Let’s see if Reaves continues to play at such a high level in the 2023-24 NBA season.
