Lakers LeBron James Changes Which NFL Team He’s Rooting For

LeBron James almost ended up playing in the NFL. He was a spectacular football player in high school and had a really big chance to become a NFL wide receiver. It didn’t happen and LeBron joined the NBA straight from high school. This didn’t stop him from watching almost every NFL game though. LeBron also has a favorite NFL team and it’s not the Dallas Cowboys.

This may not come as a surprise to us all. LeBron now supports the Cleveland Browns and this makes sense on so many levels. He played with the Cleveland Cavaliers, remember? They used the top pick to get him in 2013 and LeBron has strong connection with Cleveland. It’s like he didn’t even try to cut this tie. The Cavaliers got really mad when he left the team to join the Miami Heat, but he returned home and helped them win the first title in team history.

LeBron goes back to Cleveland again and this time he is a Browns fan.

Let’s just say he knows how to make people talk.

“I’m a Browns fan now,” the four-time NBA champion said on Thursday night.

LeBron has special connection with his favorite NFL team

It’s interesting to note that LeBron has been supporting the Cowboys since forever. This changed and now he roots for the Browns. As if this wasn’t enough, LeBron even said that the San Francisco 49ers will beat the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football.

Things do not look too good for the Browns at the moment as they are without quarterback Deshaun Watson. They will meet the 49ers this week and LeBron will do his best to watch this game.

The Cowboys lost the support of the Lakers superstar, but they have yet to react to his decision. I believe they are busy trying to win a game.

When it comes to LeBron, he and the Los Angeles Lakers try their best to show the NBA that the franchise is a real threat for any other team.
