Bill Belichick Linked To Super Bowl Team In 2 Scenarios

Bill Belichick has yet to join a NFL team, but he is now linked to a Super Bowl team. The former New England Patriots head coach talked to the Atlanta Falcons for their head coach vacancy. He could easily fit in the calm environment, away from all the NFL drama. Well, it didn’t happen and Belichick is still unemployed.

Enter the San Francisco 49ers. They have just fired defensive coordinator Steve Wilks. Will they consider hiring the legendary head coach? Is Belichick the next Niners defensive coordinator?

Rob Parker from FOX Sports has another scenario. Firing head coach Kyle Shanahan. The team has lost two Super Bowl losses and many place the blame on the head coach.

“I know people are going to be like ‘you can’t fire the coach, he’s been in the Super Bowl twice in the last four years’ … yes, you can,” Parker noted. “Sometimes you take the unknown over the known. What we know is Kyle Shanahan is a choker. We know that.

“It’s not like their offense isn’t moving and he doesn’t have a quarterback; he’s not making the right calls to close the games.”

Belichick can lead the team to a Super Bowl win

This could be really convenient for Belichick. He is a winner and San Francisco can hire him. Getting Belichick will increase their chances to win a title. The Niners know how to make the Super Bowl, but they also need to win it.

“Belichick knows how to win, he knows how to close games out, that’s why it’s worth making the move,” Parker added. “Bill Belichick is known for defense.”

Belichick’s defense helped the Patriots neutralize tough opponents. His defense was lethal for Shanahan’s offense in the 2016 Super Bowl.

“I’m convinced now and more than ever that Kyle Shanahan will never win a Super Bowl. Not with this team and this situation,” Parker said.

Chase Senior from Chat Sports is a big fan of this scenario. According to him, the Niners have nine great reasons to get Belichick. He is the best to ever coach a NFL game, so yes, it is a great opportunity for the team.

Is this an ideal scenario for the former Patriots head coach?
