Patriots 4-Time Pro Bowler Has Strong Warning For Trash-Talking Rookie

The New England Patriots didn’t engage in much trash talk over the years. It was never really an option for Patriots players, but UCF’s Javon Baker seems to be changing the narrative. Patriots Pro Bowler Mattew Judon watched the rookie introduce himself in the most hilarious way. As you may be guessing, he wants more of it.

Judon has no issues with Baker talking like that. However, he’d like to see more of this in the regular season. He really hopes that Baker won’t keep his head down when confronted by other players.

“We know you can talk. We know you’re going to have us laughing. Know you can do it in front of the media. We’ve seen you do it in college. We want you to transfer it.

“Don’t do that for the public and the media and then come in here with your backpack on, having your head down.”

Baker put up quite a show in the introductory press conference. “Bring your popcorn. I make people in wheelchairs stands up. Bring your popcorn.”

The Pro Bowler to join forces with a trash-talking rookie

Patriots players will have to get ready for training camp and it will be the most challenging training camp in recent history. The new-look Patriots team faces a big challenge. Baker will entertain his teammates and he better do the same in training camp.

“What is that, man? You just told people in a wheelchair to stand up. Come on, man. Be that, because if you can’t be comfortable at your job, it’s just going to get awkward and you’re going to stop liking the game,” Judon said.

Baker is a talented trash-talker. He won a national championship in Alabama and completed the last two seasons in Central Florida. His greatest breakthrough happened in his senior year and Baker was able to do 1,139 yards and 52 catches. Baker was a first-team All-Big 12 and led the conference in receiving yards. The talented player also went for 173 yards and a touchdown in the Gasparilla Bowl.

Once again, Baker is a talented trash-talker.
