Tom Brady Broke His Silence About His Relationship With Alex Guerrero

BradyNew England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady doesn’t really like talking about his trainer Alex Guerrero. Remember how he hung up on WEEI’s Kirk & Callahan after the host asked him several Guerrero-associated questions?

Brady is now focused on his game as the regular season is almost here. He’s relationship with Alex Guerrero is great, and the trainer doesn’t have any problems with the rest of the team, including head coach Bill Belichick.

“Alex and I, we work together. I don’t want to bring any drama this year, you know? I just want to focus on what I want to and be a great football player for this team and try and be a good example in the locker room and provide great leadership. That’s where my focus is. A lot of times, we want to talk about other things, but I just really want to stick to football and focus on being the best player I can be for this team,” the quarterback said of Guerrero.

The trainer flew with the rest of the team on their way to Carolina during the preseason, but wasn’t on the sideline during the matchups. Well, his access to the Patriots facilities caused the tension between Brady and Belichick. “I’m a pretty mentally tough guy. I’ve dealt with a lot of circumstances over a long period of time — 18, 19 years. I’m excited for this season. I’m really excited where we’re at,” Brady said.

When asked if he will continue to appear on WEEI, Brady couldn’t give a precise answer. “I don’t know. I think so,” he said.

The Boston Globe’s Chad Finn said that Brady might shift his weekly interview to the midday show, “Dale & Keefe.”

Well, let’s see if this will be the new change in Brady’s routine. Will he avoid Kirk & Callahan?
