Watch: Robert Kraft Comments On Patriots After 300th Win

The New England Patriots beat up the Miami Dolphins in Week 4. It was a great win, and this was Robert Kraft’s 300th win as an owner at the team.

The Patriots owner became the fastest owner in the league to reach this milestone. It took 432 games and 25 games for Kraft to reach this number. If you’re into comparing things, it took 495 games for Al Davis in 31 years to reach his 300th win. Pat Bowlen reached his milestone after the 501st game in 30 years.

“Fellas, that’s just what we needed today. All three units contributed, complimentary football, got contributions from everybody. We won the whole week, it wasn’t just today. We won the whole week. Just a really good job of preparation,” Kraft said.

“And today was a special day for us, for Robert [Kraft], his 300th win. Quickest to 300 by any owner,” he added.

Head coach Bill Belichick handed Kraft the game ball as a memento for his 30th milestone. The team owner addressed his Patriots and gave them the credit.

“Our family is just a vehicle and a custodian of this great asset. It’s the players and coaches that did it. Thank you, this is a great thrill for me and my family. You’re the reason it happened, and I hope we’re all together for 400,” Kraft said.

The Patriots dominated the game, and it was about time that they break the tradition.

“I thought we got what we needed from our team today. The players, coaches, did a great job this week – the coaching staff. We got a lot of good leadership from our players and they responded today. We got contributions from pretty much everybody, every unit, every phase of the team. It’s what we need and what we needed. Give them all the credit. We made enough plays to win in all of the areas. Now we’re looking at a short week here. We’ll have to go back and try to do it again, but it’s good to see our team respond the way that they did today. I thought they really played hard, played well. Hopefully we can do it again,” the head coach said.
