Los Angeles Lakers Told To Deal These Surprise Three Players Now

The Los Angeles Lakers could make a trade deal to get Anthony Davis by parting ways with just three players.

Get More Sports’ Chris Sheridan believes that LeBron James’ team will have to use the chance and send those three players somewhere else.

The Los Angeles Lakers were playing terribly without LeBron James due to his groin injury. King James earned his injury on Christmas Day in the game against the Golden State Warriors.

The Lakers are eighth in the Western Conference, and nobody says a thing about his return. The team is in danger of missing out on the playoffs on the current form. This can change overnight if Magic Johnson manages to get Davis before the deadline.

The New Orleans Pelicans did not say a thing about trading Davis, but they are out of the playoffs. This could turn bad for them in case they try to make Davis sign the contract extension next summer.

Three Lakers players to go

Sheridan made a trade package that would help the Lakers acquire Davis. He believes that the Lakers should send Brandon Ingram, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and Michael Beasley.

The Lakers know they have a chance to sign Davis now that the Boston Celtics are unable to make a deal until the summer.

However, will the Pelicans accept such opportunity? It will sure take some convincing for the Pelicans.

A trade could work in favor of the Pelicans if tey manage to get a 2019 first round pick with this year’s draft expected to involve many talented players.

The Celtics cannot trade for Davis at the moment because of Kyrie Irving’s contract. However, if he re-signs in the summer, the Celtics could hope to trade for Davis.

Davis hits free agency in 2020, and many teams are reluctant to give up too much for a star who could walk for nothing.
