The New England Patriots are still making headlines with their win over the Kansas City Chiefs. The 37-31 win was followed by stories from both teams, and we also witnessed a couple of (laser point) incidents. However, nobody did not even think that Julian Edelman would scream in Tom Brady’s face. It was hilarious.

In the second quarter of the game at Arrowhead Stadium, Edelman went on the sideline and started screaming in Brady’s face. Many would say his words were nothing but an insult for the 41-year-old quarterback, but the Patriots nation says something else. This was actually a motivating tactic.

Brady’s age was one of the hottest topics in the past couple of years. Haters used it as a fuel for their verbal attacks while Tom Brady is perfectly fine with that. The quarterback is well aware of the comments people make, and all the things they say about his age, but he is not even concerned. The quarterback knows that people will talk anyway, and just keeps doing his job on the field.

Nothing beats the fact that fans are listening to some of the comments outsiders make, and Edelman used that to motivate his favorite quarterback.

The Patriots were 7-0 in the second quarter, and Brady connected with Phillip Dorset for a 29-yard touchdown pass that brought the Patriots up 14-0. What did Edelman do? He went straight to Brady, screaming he is “too old.” Right there, right in his face. If it was a hater, we would take it as an insult, but Edelman was a typical hype man. It is not like Brady needed a motivation or anything. Edelman’s reaction was hilarious, and it worked.
