LeBron James Makes Statement After Lakers Blowout Loss To Pacers

The Los Angeles Lakers suffered the worst loss during their road game against the Indiana Pacers. LeBron James was not really happy with the way things developed, and that loss was a terrible blowout. Some say it happened because of the Anthony Davis trade talk.

Several Lakers players were mentioned in the trade rumors. The Lakers and the New Orleans Pelicans could not reach an agreement and sign Anthony Davis. The latest offer included several young players: Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma, Josh Hart and Ivica Zubac. Being mentioned in a trade deal is not the best feeling in the world. Maybe this is why the young players lost the game to the Pacers. The Pacers fans used trade rumors for chants against Kuzma and Ingram. That’s how you kill a motivation.

The Lakers won 27 and lost 27 games this season. Now they own the 10th seed in the Western Conference. “Bottom line, we have to be better,” said Lakers head coach Luke Walton.

“I know it’s got to be tough on a lot of our guys, especially our young guys,” LeBron said. “They’ve just never been a part of it, and they’re hearing it every single day. I know that the worst thing you can do right now is be on social media. And I know all young guys love to be on social media. That definitely can’t help.”

The Pacers were great

Bojan Bogdanovic scored 24 points for the team, and the Pacers hit their own record of scoring 19 three pointers. The Lakers had just four.

We can already feel the disappointment in Los Angeles. Someone was really unhappy with all the rumors, and that affects the game on the floor. Let’s hope that the players will improve next time they hit the court. The trade deadline is around the corner, and that could change everything.
