Video: LeBron James Throw Down Dunks at Son Bronny’s AAU Game

LeBron James has never been part of the NBA Slam Dunk Contest, but that would surely be an interesting thing to watch. In fact, LeBron gave a preview of what that might look like during his son Bronny’s AAU game. Saturday afternoon.

James attended his oldest son Bronny’s basketball game and put on quite a show during the warm-ups. The 34-year-old three-time NBA champion was tossing the basketball off the backboard before slamming it home:

Once the game began, the proud father stepped aside and Bronny stole back the spotlight. The 14-year-old capped his performance with some clutch dunks of his own for his North Coast Blue Chips team.

Even James himself shared the video of Bronny’s dunk:

“Getting closer and closer ladies and gentleman,” James captioned the video. “Be aware, be very aware!! Just hope it’s not you on the other end of a poster. Coming to a city near you.”

Outside of the obvious pride he feels while watching his son play, James has every reason to be in a good mood this summer despite not making the NBA playoffs. As you probably know already, the Los Angeles Lakers pulled off a blockbuster trade to acquire Anthony Davis from the New Orleans Pelicans and LeBron is definitely looking forward to play with him.
