LeBron James And Anthony Davis Announce Another Exiting Era Of Lakers Basketball

LeBron James and Anthony Davis will start off a brand new era at Staples Center. How will LeBron and Davis get used to playing together?

Davis, LeBron and other Klutch clients had a nice game at the UCLA Health Training Center in El Segundo.

LeBron shared a photo of himself while dunking. Dwight Howard is right behind him, and it looks like he is getting acclimated with his new team. In his Instagram story, LeBron told everyone that he and Davis will motivate each other during their game together.

The Lakers have high expectations regarding Davis.

“There is no more complete basketball player in the game,” Rob Pelinka said. “There is nothing he can’t do. He can shoot. He can make plays. He can defend 1 to 5. He can protect the rim. He can handle the ball. His dedication to his craft is unparalleled. To sit here next to him and think he’s going to be on our team and he’s going to be a pillar in this franchise for many years is just something we’re incredibly proud of.”

If you ask Chris B. Haynes, he will say that Davis will lead his team in scoring.

“I think Anthony Davis is going to lead the Lakers in scoring. But I think just from an all-around standpoint, leadership, determination, I think LeBron is going to bring it this season. I’m serious about that.”

According to Shams Charania, Dwight Howard joined the Lakers thanks to Davis.

“For Davis, the desire to play alongside a true center is real. Davis is comfortable playing minutes at center during the playoffs, a league source told The Athletic but prefers a true big next to him over a full regular season. The Lakers understood this and began targeting Howard. They needed to know whether they could put their faith in him.”

Lakers players were really happy with Davis, and LeBron even offered his No. 23. But, Nike didn’t allow it because of their contract.

“We went to dinner, the first time we went to dinner since the trade happened, and (LeBron) was, like, ‘Man, look, here’s 23,’” Davis recalled. “I was like, ‘Oh, wow, thank you, LeBron.’… (But Nike said) ‘we don’t care who you guys are; that’s too much money.’ So I was a little hurt.”
