Julian Edelman Shares Hype Video To Fire Up Fans Before Patriots Vs. Jets Game

Julian Edelman is the ultimate hype man. The Patriots wide receiver knows how to fire up fans ahead of every game his team plays. This Monday, the New England Patriots are playing the New York Jets, and the receiver shared his usual hype video.

Fans are looking forward for the Monday night showdown in the Meadowlands, and Edelman has been waiting for this for quite some time.

He also shared a few pics of the incredible win New England had over the Jets a decade ago. This time they will go even harder. Although the Jets may have a few tricks to use against Tom Brady and Co., they can’t even get any near the Pats. New England is 6-0 at this point of the regular season.

The Pats lack some of their key contributors, including Josh Gordon and Rex Burkhead, but they still have a really big chance to win the game. It’s a big game for head coach Bill Belichick and his guys.

Edelman was limited in practice, but he will play through his injury once again.

“Well, for me, he’s a spectacular player,” the Patriots quarterback said in his weekly appearance on WEEI’s “Greg Hill Show.”  He’ll be in the Patriots Hall of Fame, and he could be a Pro Football Hall of Famer, too, at some point. What he’s done and what he’s accomplished is nothing short of spectacular. He’s a great teammate. He does all the dirty work. Not just his only spectacular performances — his ability to run routes, catch the ball, run after catch — but blocking, blocking for other guys. I think his day-to-day mentality really sets the tone for everybody.

“We put Julian in a situation to do all the toughest jobs, basically, and that’s what he relishes. And those things can’t go unnoticed, because when he’s not in there, you can see the difference it has on our offense. He does a lot of things that a lot of other players in the NFL can’t do, and he’s just a spectacular player.

“So that’s definitely a kind of a bogus vote, in my view, because he is a spectacular player — one of the greats in the NFL, no doubt.”
