Stephon Gilmore Invites 12-Year-Old Girl Who Was Bullied For Playing Football To Patriots Game

New England Patriots are all-in when it comes to supporting their fans, especially those who are bullied on a daily basis. Stephon Gilmore heard about the girl who was bullied for her love for the game. The Patriot decided to do something about the girl, and she will always remember that.

On Thursday, the cornerback watched a video posted by WPRI of Quinn. The young football player from Pawtucket plays cornerback and wears Gilmore’s No. 24. Gilmore wanted to get in touch with the girl and her family. Wonder why? He wanted to invite her to a Patriots game.

“She’s repping that 24! Would love to meet you Quinn! If anyone knows her contact DM me! Hopefully she would enjoy a Pats game!” the cornerback wrote.

Gilmore talked about the girl with media members on Friday.

“It’s a sad situation, but I’m happy for her,” he said. “I’m happy she’s focused and having fun playing football. I think she should be happy and not let nothing affect her on the outside, be happy to go to school, be happy to play sports. Hopefully, I can connect with her soon.”

We don’t know when Gilmore will meet Quinn, but when they meet, he will deliver a very special message.

“No matter what it is — in class or in sports — do what you love and never let no one tell you that you can’t do nothing,” Gilmore said. “Women can play whatever they want to play. That’s one thing I would tell her.”

The Patriots are playing the New York Jets on Monday. Will Gilmore be able to organize this meeting by then? If not, he will have a lot of chances throughout the regular season to invite her. It will be a dream come true for the 12-year-old, and yes, it will be a huge message for her bullies.

Gilmore is doing the right thing, and that’s what matters at the moment. Kids look up to their idols, and Gilmore gave this girl the ultimate motivation. Hopefully, she will become a great athlete one day. May this be a message and true inspiration for other bullied children.
