New England Patriots Give Injury Report Ahead Of Game Vs. Eagles

The New England Patriots are playing the Philadelphia Eagles, and they have released the injury report for Thursday. Outside linebacker John Simon was added to the injury report Thursday. Simon was limited participants in the Patriots’ third practice of the week due to an elbow injury. Safety Patrick Chung was also limited due to his chest and heel injury. Tight end Matt LaCosse was limited for his knee injury, and defensive tackle Danny Shelton was also a limited participant for his ankle issue.

Special teamer Nate Ebner didn’t take part in the practice, and he was the only absent player.

The injury report didn’t ring the alarm

Simon doesn’t have the same role as Jamie Collins, Dont’a Hightower, Kyle Van Noy and Chase Winovich, but the Patriots view him as a steady contributor to the defense. He played in every game of the regular season, and had 21 tackles, three sacks, two tackles for a loss, four quarterback hits, one interception, one forced fumble and four passes defended.

The linebacker appears on the injury report for the first time this season.

New England is 8-1 at this point of the regular season, and the only game Tom Brady lost was the match against the Baltimore Ravens. According to several NFL analysts, the Patriots will lose their Week 11 contest against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Well, we can’t really tell that the Patriots will give up on winning this game, and Brady can’t forget the Super Bowl loss to the Eagles. This game will be important for both teams, but the Patriots have a better record.

Playing the Eagles with a healthy roster give the Patriots a better chance to win this game. The defense needs to stay strong, and the offense needs to step up the game. New England has issues with the offense, and Brady still hopes that they will move forward with a stronger defense.
