LeBron James Honors Kobe And Gianna Bryant With Emotional Instagram Post

Kobe and Gianna Bryant died in a helicopter crash on Jan. 26 outside Calabasas. They traveled with seven other people, and none of them survived the crash. It was a tragedy that shocked the basketball world, and fans mourn over the death of the Lakers legend. It’s hard to accept reality especially when you realize that the girl was just 13. Gigi was about to become as awesome as her dad, but this opportunity was snatched right from her hands. The Bryant family organized a memorial to praise the greatness of Kobe and his girl. A lot of people attended the service, including Michael Jordan, Rob Pelinka, Diana Taurasi, Beyonce and many others. They all celebrated the life of the Black Mamba and his baby Mamba. LeBron James took honored Kobe and Gianna, too.

The king of basketball took to his Instagram account to pay his tribute for Kobe and the girl. He shared the date 2/24. The date also combines the jersey numbers Kobe and Gigi had on the court. LeBron also added a purple and yellow heart.

Lakers players had hard time accepting the sad truth, and LeBron helped them get over the loss. Kobe mentored a lot of players, and they all viewed him as an icon. He was their idol, and sadly, he is done now. Kobe didn’t attend a lot of home games at Staples Center this season because he wanted to spend more time with his wife and daughters.

During the memorial, a lot of people talked about Kobe’s greatness. Pelinka recalled the last message he got from Bryant. The Black Mamba was asking him for help as he was trying to help a girl. Yes, that’s exactly what he was doing moments before the crash.

Bryant was someone who could get the best out of people. Michael Jordan also talked about his greatness and the impact he had on people. It was a sad day for everyone, and we will need a lot of time to get over the terrible loss. Kobe was an excellent person and a devoted dad. His wife, Vanessa, was heartbroken. She couldn’t hold her tears during her speech at the memorial.
