Watch: Patriots’ Mohamed Sanu Catches Punts Over House In Incredible Video

The New England Patriots got Mohamed Sanu for a good reason, and this video of him catching punts over a house says pretty much everything you need to know about him. Head coach Bill Belichick traded a second-round draft pick to get him, and he had a good reason to make this sacrifice. Sanu is a talented wide receiver, and he is the right person to join Edelman and the squad.

Sanu joined the Patriots last season and Belichick planned to use him as a punt returner. Well, the receiver will get ready to fill the role again if called upon.

The veteran has been recovering from his ankle injury. In a recent video, we can see him catch punts that were sent by a machine over a house. This is pure magic.

Sanu, Julian Edelman, Brandon Bolden and Gunner Olszewski will compete for touches as kick returners in the upcoming season.

Mohamed Sanu does more than just catch punts over a house

Sanu is really good in his workouts. The veteran wide receiver makes really progress in the rehab process from the injury sustained last November. This sprain forced him to sit out one game. The Patriots listed Sanu as limited player throughout the remainder of the last season. He had his boot removed in mid-May. According to these videos, Sanu is able to move without any limitations.

In another video, Sanu did some amazing pass-catching drills. He didn’t do high-speed running, but sure made great cuts on his injured ankle. This was great news for every fan. It was a big blow for doubters who criticized him. It looks like Sanu is ready to hit minicamp and training camp.

In the first two contests as a Patriot, the veteran wide receiver was able to catch 12 passes for 104 yards and a score. The ankle sprain sure affected his play, but he improved at the end of the regular season. The only problem Sanu had was creating chemistry with TB12. Well, this probably happened due to his sprain. Sanu’s start in New England was great and that’s the only thing that matters at the moment. Belichick and his players are looking forward to start the new campaign.
