JaVale Mcgee’s and Dion Waiters’ Statuses for Game 3 Revealed

JaVale Mcgee is might be out in game 3. The Los Angeles Lakers are trying to take the Round 2 lead over the Houston Rockets tonight. They once again came out very flat in game 1 and lost. Their offense failed to do much of anything and fans were not happy. However, they bounced back in a big way in game 2 and were able to take the victory.

Lost of the questions are also surrounding the injury report of game 3. The Lakers recently came out with their newly updated list. Game 3 is going to be a huge game and could have a huge impact on the series going forward.

The Los Angeles Lakers were able to get back on track in their Western Conference semifinals against the Houston Rockets on Sunday. However, it sounds like L.A. may be missing a few players for Game 3.

Lakers head coach Frank Vogel talked with reporters during a Zoom call recently. He explained that center Javale McGee is unlikely with a sprained ankle. Guard Dion Waiters is unlikely with a strained groin.

Another player that has struggled with injuries is Rajon Rondo. Vogel recently talked about his play and stuck up for him.

“We have to keep this team off guard,” said Vogel. “Rajon Rondo did a great job. He kept his turnovers low and had a lot of assists, just a great overall performance.”

LeBron also talked about this.

“Being able to play versus big teams, be able to play small, be able to play in between, we built that from the beginning and we have that, always have that in our toolbox,” said LeBron James.

“Sometimes you need one game to be able to understand the speed they play with, and I think we adjusted from Game 1 to Game 2,” he added, “They’re an extremely fast team. Everyone keeps talking about small-ball, but their speed and activity defensively and offensively is something that can catch you off guard, like in a Game 1 situation. We got a feel for that.”

The Lakers might be shorted-handed but they should still be able to pull out a victory. What do you think about this?
