Robert Kraft Shares Honest Thoughts On Tom Brady Winning In Tampa

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft watched quarterback Tom Brady win his seventh Super Bowl. The star quarterback left the Patriots after 20 years and joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His debut with the Buccaneers was successful and Brady won a championship. TB12 did a great job abd Kraft shared his thoughts on Brady’s success.

How does Kraft feel about seeing his favorite quarterback find success with another team?

The Patriots owner sat down for an interview with Sports Illustrated. He had nothing but great words for the former Patriots quarterback. Brady helped the Patriots win six Super Bowls after all. Kraft respects that.

Robert Kraft likes Tom Brady

Kraft is really happy for the GOAT. He thanked TB12 for his great work and the “wonderful years” in New England. Brady was a true leader on the field, and the Patriots nation loves him. Everyone rooted for him in the Super Bowl. The Patriots didn’t even make the playoffs in 2020, and Brady won a Super Bowl. So, Kraft is happy about that.

“Well, I was really happy for him,” Kraft said. “He’s a great guy and he gave us 20 wonderful years, and he made the choice to do what he wanted to do… If we’re not going to win, and someone’s got to do it, I’m happy for him. He deserves it.”

Guess what… Kraft is not someone who’d let Tom Brady win Super Bowls instead of his Patriots. The team is coming off the first losing season since 2000. The Patriots haven’t endured back-to-back losing seasons since the early-1990s. Kraft won’t lose another season.

Just take a look at the moves Bill Belichick made in the offseason. The Patriots head coach spent a lot of money in free agency. He signed guys like Jonnu Smith and Hunter Henry.

Kraft likes Brady but the Patriots will do their best to make the playoffs in 2021. Belichick has yet to make a move regarding his top quarterback. Cam Newton agreed to a one-year deal and he will probably compete with Jarrett Stidham and a potential draft pick for the starting job.
