LeBron James Admits He’d ‘Absolutely’ Want to Play With Rival Superstar

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James would gladly share the basketball court with one particular rival who happens to be one of his great friends.

Chris Paul is leading his team to the NBA Finals for the first time in 16 seasons. The Phoenix Suns will challenge their opponents once again. Will he be able to win a championship? If Paul fails again, he will have to re-evaluate his situation in the NBA.

The Suns look really good together and Paul is 36. What does this mean? He doesn’t have too much time left in the tank. I mean, Paul is an excellent player but he will have to retire at some point.

Will he go to LA?

LeBron James roots for his rival

LeBron and Paul are really great friends. We all know that they have never played together. Their careers are coming to an end and maybe Paul will give himself a chance to win a championship.

King James went on Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote his new movie. He is really proud of Space Jam: A New Legacy. So, one of the questions was related to Paul and his willingness to play with him.

Guest host Arsenio Hall said, “Of course you’d love to play with your friend. We’d love it.”

LeBron replied: “Absolutely. Absolutely. Absolutely.”

King James is not part of the Finals now but he has a lot of love for his dear friend. He is actually rooting for CP3.

“I have a horse in the race and he goes by the name of Chris Paul,” LeBron said of the NBA Finals. “So I’ve been watching. That is my brother and we’ve known each other since my junior year of high school, his sophomore year. We actually met for the first time when we were in eighth grade. … We’ve been friends ever since.”

LeBron also shared a story to reveal how close he and Paul are.

“It happened to be during the NBA Finals then,” LeBron said. “So he’s the godfather of Bryce, and Bryce came out the night before, and then I proceeded to get my ass kicked by the Spurs the next day.”
