LeBron James Latest Statement Should Warn Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kevin Durant

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is getting ready for another long season and his latest statement is definitely a warning for everyone, including Giannis Antetokounmpo.

LeBron James doesn’t need extra motivation to win games. He is right there, standing in front of the mirror motivating himself. You read that right. The four-time NBA champion doesn’t need strong motivation to win the title next season. He already has it. The kid from Akron is highly motivated to win his fifth ring. This time he will be working with a talented group of veterans and Carmelo Anthony is one of them.

The Los Angeles Lakers were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs. The Phoenix Suns did a good job but failed to win the ring. Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks won the championship. When it comes to Giannis, LeBron has a warning for him.

LeBron James delivers a big statement

The king of basketball is incredibly motivated and he really likes when people challenge him. He has heard most of the comments about his game and appearance. We all know that LeBron doesn’t need to prove anything to anyone at this point. He is 36 and winning a title is the only thing that matters at this stage.

The Lakers failed to defend the title and their season was packed with injuries. LeBron missed a lot of time on the floor and Anthony Davis was out for many weeks. LeBron decided to use the early exit in the NBA playoffs as a fuel to return stronger than ever.

He took to his Instagram stories to share a photo of him wearing a Miami Heat jersey. The caption says it all. Good ol’ days, right?

“It’s not about (how) you fail. It’s about how you come back from it.”

We do believe that Giannis, Kevin Durant, and Stephen Curry should take notes. The King has spoken.

LeBron was probably alluding to Miami Heat’s failure in the 2011 NBA Finals. They were favorites to win the series against the Dallas Mavericks. His team blew a 2-1 series and lost in six games. LeBron won’t go through the same again.
