Bill Belichick Provides Honest Response To Tom Brady Question

Bill Belichick had an honest response to a certain question regarding Tom Brady. The New England Patriots got back on track in week two with a win over the Jets. Granted, the Jets are not a very good football team. Still, the Patriot’s defense held them to just 6 points and had 4 interceptions to boot. They are now going into week 3 with a 1-1 record. Will they be able to keep their winning ways?

Belichick had some interesting things to say after the game.

“Proud of our football team today. I thought these guys came back and really worked hard all week. I thought we made some improvement from what we did last week. Still, obviously, have a way to go, a lot of things we can do better,” Belichick said following the 25-6 win. “But I thought we did a lot of things better than we did last week. We just gotta keep grinding, keep working, keep stringing these days and weeks together and keep improving our football team. Had a lot of guys step up. Got some turnover opportunities, took advantage of those.

“Wilson made some pretty impressive throws — that kid’s gonna be a good player — he is a good player. Had a couple big plays offensively. Damien’s run was obviously a big one. Was good to get the ball in the end zone there. … Overall, probably just gotta do a little better job taking care of our scoring opportunities. Nick (Folk) did a good job. (Wind) was kinda swirling out there. Not the easiest day kick. He banged through a lot of big kicks there.”

Bill Belichick Provides Honest Response To Tom Brady Question

Belichick was also asked about Tom Brady and he had an honest response.

Brady recently came out and said that he could play in the NFL until he was 50.

“Wow, seems to be a really hot question lately,” Brady said. “Can Tom Brady play ’til 50? Like, 50 years old? Fifty. I don’t find it so difficult. Plus, in Florida, it’s kind of a retiree state, so I feel like I can play and then just glide into retirement. I think I can. I think it’s a yes.”

Belichick had a good response.

“If anyone could do it, it’s probably him,” said Belichick.
