Russell Westbrook Defiant Message to All The Haters

Russell Westbrook is doing a really good job with the Los Angeles Lakers, but haters won’t let him be. Simple as that. Broddie joined the Lakers as the third star behind LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Shaquille O’Neal wouldn’t agree with this one. He even said that Westbrook is a role player.

Truth is, Westbrook is one of the most competitive player in the NBA. He is a winner. If you go through his stats, you will notice that Westbrook did a wonderful job in the last few games.

Russell Westbrook slams haters

Enter doubters. They’d say that Westbrook is a sore on any roster he has been part of. He has a message for them all.

“People have never seen any player like me before,” Westbrook told ESPN. “When people do things that have never been done before, people’s first response is to point out the negatives of why it happened, how it happened. And that’s reality. That’s the world we live in. For me, that’s why I’m OK with being comfortable in doing the things I’m doing for the game and trying to win, and I can live with that.

Westbrook is a spectacular player. He has unique combination of athleticism, strength, competitiveness…

Lakers players may need more time to find their groove. Westbrook has a role and he is doing just fine. He and Davis helped the team win games in LeBron’s absence. His triple-doubles had great impact on the game. Is this enough for O’Neal? I believe the Lakers have a much bigger concern right now.

The coaching staff may consider making some changes in the offense. When it comes to coaches, Frank Vogel is on a hot seat. Some fans don’t like his coaching, but it’s too soon to make a claim. Jeanie Buss will wait for a while before she makes a move. Some players are still out. How will Vogel handle a 100% healthy team?

Westbrook and his teammates have to deal with a huge challenge. They have to avoid the play-in tournament this season. That should be a priority right now.
