Patriots Veteran Recruiting Broncos’ Jerry Jeudy As Wideout Rumors Persist

The New England Patriots are going after top names in the offseason. They have shown interest in several players, including Odell Beckham Jr. According to recent reports, the Patriots are doing an effort to get Jerry Jeudy. Jeff Howe from The Athletic was among the first to report their interest in acquiring the talented wide receiver.

Benjamin Allbright from Denver’s KOA-FM confirmed the information. Bill Belichick and his quad have shown great interest in getting Jeudy.

“Source confirms multiple teams have called inquiring about WR Jerry Jeudy,” Allbright tweeted. “Price tag remains high. Team asking for 1st or high 2nd + player. NE, Cle and Dal (who was interested at trade deadline last year) among others inquiring.”

We don’t really know if the Patriots can afford Jeudy, but we do know that he’d be an excellent addition. He is coming off a good season with the Denver Broncos, delivering 67 receptions for 972 yards and six touchdowns. When it comes to career accomplishments, Jeudy has 157 receptions for 2,295 yards and nine touchdowns.

Jeudy is relatively young, meaning he has a lot to offer. He is 23 and is yet to hit his primetime.

Patriots veteran Mack Wilson is a fan of Jerry Jeudy

Wilson would love to see Jeudy put on a Patriots uniform. The newly added Patriots linebacker took to Twitter to recruit talented Jeudy.

The best part? Belichick likes Jeudy. He praised his athleticism last season. Yes, coach B is a fan, too.

“He’s fast. He’s very athletic,” Belichick said. “He gets to a lot of plays. One of the faster linebackers that we’ve had, and then probably around the league to tell you the truth. He gets to a lot of plays. So, it’s a big advantage. You know some of those perimeters, those catch and runs or outside plays. It’s definitely a strength of his. He’s a contact player. He’s had some explosive hits on runners and on blockers. He brings a level of physicality that’s good.”
