Lakers Superstar Anthony Davis Wild Double-Double vs. Magic Draws ‘Monster’ Claim From D’Angelo Russell

The Los Angeles Lakers trusted both LeBron James and Anthony Davis early this season. Both superstars are taking the basketball court again and yes, they are hyped to get a ring again. LeBron is the greatest basketball player of all time. Davis is one of the better players when healthy. His body frame is deadly to other players and Davis is unstoppable on the court. The Lakers rewarded him with a monster contract extension in the offseason, meaning they want him around for a while. D’Angelo Russell joined the Lakers for the same reason and he has nothing but great words for Davis.

Davis was a dominant force in the win over the Orlando Magic. He scored 26 points and 19 rebounds. He was of great help for the team and his teammates poured words of praise for him.

Russell had nothing but words of praise for the monster performance AD had on the floor that night. He scored a double-double and it was brilliant.

Russell, Davis, and other Lakers players team up for the win

It’s interesting to note that Russell was also brilliant in the game. He showed the world that the Lakers had a good reason to get him. Russell had a good performance against the Magic, delivering 28 points, 10-14 from the field, and 3-6 from deep. He sure was a monster in the fourth quarter of the game and the Lakers ended up celebrating a comeback win.

Davis seems to have adjusted to his role as a leader in LA. His stats were a direct threat for the opponent and nothing could beat those 19 rebounds.

The Lakers are on a good way to make the NBA Finals again. They made the big game last season, but couldn’t get past the Denver Nuggets. Let’s hope they have a better outcome this time.

LeBron, Davis, Russell, and the rest of the team will play their best basketball in the first half of the season. Head coach Darvin Ham will keep adjusting his rotations to make things easier for his team.
