LeBron James Has One Wish To Commissioner Adam Silver, NBA Ahead Of Christmas Day Games

The Los Angeles Lakers will play their Christmas Day game against the Boston Celtics and LeBron James has one wish.

It will be a great game between longtime rivals. It would be even better if players had special uniforms. Yes, that’s exactly what LeBron wants. Will his wish ever come true?

LeBron has been around the NBA for two decades. He has played on Christmas Day quite often. If you keep track on records, you probably know that the four-time NBA champion has never missed a Christmas Day game since signing with Jeannie Buss’ team.

LeBron may have his Christmas Day wish granted

The Lakers superstar took to his social media to share his wish with NBA Commissioner Adam Silver. So, LeBron wants Silver to bring back the Christmas Day specific jerseys NBA players used to wear back in the days.

These jerseys were first worn in 2008 when the league decided to use Christmas specific jerseys. Fans and layers loved them! Players last wore these jerseys in 2017. The tradition stopped with the end of the league’s contract with Adidas. Nike has been making jerseys since then.

NBA players will wear their franchise jerseys on Christmas Day. LeBron and his teammates will have the regular purple and gold pieces.

When it comes to Christmas Day, Lakers players have an extra motivation to beat the Celtics. They won the NBA In-Season Tournament but lost four games so far. Players may be exhausted or may just need an extra pair of hands on the basketball court.

LeBron will turn 39 in a few days and his game is still sharp. The king of basketball has a MVP performance every night he takes the court and Christmas Day will be no exception. LeBron is averaging 25.7 points per game with the Lakers this season to go along with 7.7 rebounds, 7.3 assists, and 1.5 steals.
