Nick Foles Takes High Road When Asked About Getting Snubbed By Tom Brady

Nick Foles was snubbed by New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, and nobody will ever forget that… incident?

But, what most fans don’t even see is Nick Foles respecting the quarterback. Yes.

“It will happen when it happens. We practiced with the Patriots several years ago, and I got to stand there and talk to Tom for quite a bit. He’s a great guy. I have all the respect in the world for him. I think everyone’s making a really big deal out of this and it’s not a big deal at all. I’ve already talked to him before; he’s a guy I’ve always looked up to. You’ve got to admire someone who is probably the greatest ever and still going strong. I mean, even at his age (41) he seems to get better and better. I’ve already had a conversation with him before when we practiced, so if we have one in the future, we’ll have one and it will be cool,” Foles said when asked about the handshake thing and the Pats quarterback.

The congratulatory handshake may happen Thursday night when the Eagles will face the Patriots in the second preseason game.

Noles isn’t too concerned about the whole thing. The Eagles won over the Pats in Super Bowl LII, and this is probably the reasons Foles has to never connect with Brady.

When asked if he has ever talked to Brady or heard from it, Noles gave the most sincere answer. “No, I haven’t. We both have a lot going on in our lives so, you know, in time,” Foles said.

It’s good that Noles doesn’t see the congratulatory handshake thing as an unresolved issue. He made it clear. No hard feelings, no anything. Maybe Brady and Noles will shake their hands after wall.

Who will win the second preseason game?
