Tom Brady Asks Rhetorical Question In Follow Up To His First Tricky Tweet

April Fools’ Day is that time of the year when you make jokes about anything. But, you can’t joke about your retirement if your name is Tom Brady and you play with the New England Patriots. The quarterback put the fanbase on fire after he cracked a joke that should have never crossed his mind. He said he would retire. Really, Tom? People started asking questions and commenting stuff, and Brady just asked a rhetorical question.

“Was this a bad joke?” TB12 asked. It was, Tom.

Edelman was one of the many people who got confused. We bet he didn’t even laugh at Tom’s joke. Brady can’t retire now, because the Patriots nation is waiting for him to win a few more Super Bowls.

Brady was the one who promised to play until he is 45. So, the whole retirement thing should be buried deep enough so it doesn’t come out in near future.

Pretty much everyone counts on Brady, including coach Bill Belichick. In one of his recent interviews, the Patriots head coach talked about his relationship with TB12. That should put an end to every rumor related to the alleged tension between Brady and his coach.

“In (basketball), it’s great because everybody plays offense, everybody plays defense,” Belichick told Coach K. “But in our sport, there’s a division between offense, defense, special teams, and a lot of times it’s hard to pull all those together. But, as a head coach, it’s important to be able to manage those critical situations with your quarterback, your offensive coordinator, your special teams coach, and your defense all together.

“I think Tom and I have spent a lot of time building that philosophy, understanding what we’re each thinking in certain situations, so when they come up, he can anticipate what I want to do (and) I can anticipate what he’d like to do. We try to get the best thing. I’d say we both work at it.”

He said it all.

The Patriots lost Rob Gronkowski, and losing Brady isn’t the best scenario at the moment. Moreover, it’s their worst nightmare. Tom is the pillar of the team. He can’t go anywhere.
