C.J. McCollum Claims LeBron James Is The Best Player in Game Today, Declares Him MVP

The regular NBA season is suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic. Past and present basketball players used the chance to pick their favorite player or recall some of the best games. NBA players may not finish the season, and officials may fast-forward the whole thing to the playoffs. If this happens LA will meet Milwaukee. LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo are top candidates to earn the NBA MVP honors this season. C.J. McCollum had to choose between LeBron and Giannis to give his MVP vote.

During an interview with Jay Williams from ESPN on “The Boardroom,” the Portland Trail Blazers star said that LeBron is the best player in the game these days.

The four-time NBA MVP earned every right to win this award. He is 35 but age is just a number for him. LeBron is the best basketball player of all times, and McCollum knows it.

“I’ll go Bron (James), Kawhi [Leonard] and Giannis [Antetokounmpo],” McCollum said when asked who the best NBA players were. “I think Bron has solidified himself as the best player right now. [He] makes his team better. You take him off that Laker team, you see what happened last year. Put him on another team. If you change roles, that’s how I look at like most valuable player”

McCollum says LeBron James is the NBA MVP

King James chases Antetokounmpo for the 2020 MVP award. Although the young Greek Freak is considered a front-runner to win the award, LeBron can easily get it for himself.

So far this season, LeBron is averaging 25.7 points, 10.6 assists and 7.9 rebounds per game. His brilliant play and leadership skills helped the Lakers reach the second-best record in the NBA.

The 28-year-old McCollum has an excellent season.

The 6-foot-3 guard is averaging 22.5 points, 4.3 assists and 4.1 boards per game so far. However, his team is outside the playoff run at this point.

LeBron and the Lakers sit on top of the West, and they have all the talent they need to win a title. Hopefully, the situation in our country will improve. For now, NBA players stick to the guidelines and respect the rules. The coronavirus hit the nation and we were caught off guard.
