Anthony Davis Reveals How Lakers Honor Kobe Bryant Every Game

The Los Angeles Lakers will honor late basketball legend Kobe Bryant in every game. The Black Mamba lost his life on Jan. 26, and basketball players can’t stop thinking about the loss. Kobe was one of the best players to ever play the game. He had a competitive soul, and LA players learned so much from him. The great Kobe is gone now, but that doesn’t mean that the world of basketball will forget about him.

Following the Game 4 win over the Houston Rockets, Lakers big man Davis was wearing a shirt honoring Kobe and his five championship rings.

Davis talked about Kobe and the ways Lakers players have to honor Kobe in every game.

“I for sure think about him all the time on and off the floor, but I just thought this was a dope shirt. Not just me, but the entire team thinks about him the entire time. We say ‘Mamba on 3’ after every timeout and every huddle knowing that he’s with us. Knowing that we’re not only playing for the organization but playing for him.”

Lakers players will honor Kobe Bryant tonight

The Lakers have the ultimate motivation to make the NBA Finals. A championship win will be the best tribute to the Black Mamba. The Lakers haven’t won a title since Kobe’s time with the team. Anthony Davis and LeBron James will take the team to the top. Lakers fans hope for a win, and the superstar-laden roster will soon keep its promise.
