AFC Team Is Doing ‘Background Work’ On Patriots Bill Belichick

The best head coach in league history may make headlines again as Bill Belichick may join an AFC team after the end of the season. The New England Patriots were eliminated from the playoffs again and the Kraft family may try to make some changes in the coaching staff. According to some reports, the team may part ways with the legendary head coach and it seems like they made this decision after the terrible loss in Germany.

Kraft was really disappointed in the last few seasons, but he never said anything about firing Belichick. Most scenarios are nothing short of a speculation and we will have to wait until the offseason to see the final outcome.

Belichick could join the AFC East team

We have a new report suggesting that Belichick will leave the Patriots after the weekend. A few teams have allegedly shown interest in acquiring the GOAT among all coaches. Where is he going next? Will Kraft let Belichick go after all these years?

The Los Angeles Chargers have been mentioned as a potential destination for Belichick. Josina Anderson from CBS Sports listed him as one of the four coaches Chargers consider hiring. They are also checking their options with Michigan’s Jim Harbaugh, Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn and Washington Commanders offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy.

NFL insider Benjamin Allbright also talked about Belichick’s chances to join the Chargers. He was the one mentioning that LA is doing background work on coach B, Harbaugh, and Quinn.

The Patriots are ending the worst season in Belichick’s time with the team. It was a long tenure filled with success, challenges, and scandals. Belichick and the Patriots set up the foundation for a strong dynasty. Is it all coming to an end now?

“As I talked about on Broncos pregame with Dave Logan,” Allbright wrote. “Harbaugh, Quinn and Belichick are the three they’ve been putting background work into.”
