Another Patriots Player Speaks Out In Defense Of Head Coach Bill Belichick

The New England Patriots were eliminated from the playoffs and it is official. The team made too many mistakes early in the season and fans can no longer hope for a title. It was a disappointing season for the Patriots and some of the players will have to leave the organization in the offseason. Some of the coaches will have to go, too. Does this include legendary Bill Belichick? The Patriots head coach added another bad season to his portfolio and players in this group couldn’t help him pass Don Shula for the most wins in NFL history. Belichick built a good defense, but the offense was awful, despite Bill O’Brien’s impact.

Patriots players are united in their defense for head coach Belichick

Belichick may be criticized for the terrible season, but players got his back. Each and every Patriots player stands by their head coach. They did win just three games so far, but players know it’s not his fault. Patriots players heard all the rumors about Belichick’s potential firing and all the trade scenarios analysts came up with. Guess what? They couldn’t care less.

Patriots safety Jabrill Peppers defended his head coach and so did linebacker Jahlani Tavai.

“Regardless… I got his back no matter what,” Tavai said during his appearance on “The Greg Hill Show” on Monday morning. “Bill’s been doing such a really good job, and he’s been focused every week. And he’s trying to get us to find ways to improve. So, I don’t know what people are saying, and I’m sure he doesn’t really care what people are saying, either. I just hope we continue whatever we’re doing right now, and I’m hoping that he’s not listening to the outside noise, either.”

Current and former Patriots players know that Belichick is the GOAT. They all respect his dominance in the NFL world. They all know that he is the best to ever coach a NFL game. Doubters can deny this as much as they want, but Belichick is the GOAT among all coaches.
