Bill Belichick Makes Admission About ‘Thursday Football’

New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is a man of a few words, but he sure knows how to make a surprising admission. The head coach doesn’t like talking about topics that are not related to his next game. Belichick would gladly talk about his upcoming match and all the challenges this game brings. He talks about strong defenses and offensive struggles. You would never hear him talk about his contract situation or his decision making.

Belichick rarely talks about struggling players and he sure believes that everyone should improve. It was definitely a surprise to hear him talk about his NFL preferences. Do you know that Belichick doesn’t like Thursday Night Football?

Spero Dedes and Adam Archuleta from CBS discussed this during Sunday’s broadcast of the game between the Patriots and Los Angeles Chargers. It was an interesting note they got during the pregame meetings with the legendary head coach.

“We’ve had some pretty enjoyable meetings and chats with Bill Belichick,” they said. “I tell ya one thing we learned about coach the other day, he’s not a streaming guy. You asked him if he watched ‘Thursday Night Football.’ He said, ‘What’s that, that streaming thing? Nah, I don’t do that.’”

NFL fans talk about Belichick and his admission

Belichick is full of surprises. He is actually a mysterious NFL personality and each moves sparks a huge discussion on social media. That’s exactly what happened this time.

“I’m too busy watching the practice tapes of the opposing teams…”

Reactions didn’t stop here.

“Bill’s not alone, it’s a crummy product,” a fan said.

“Didn’t watch much football yesterday either,” another wrote.

There were some rude comments as well. Some fans brought up the Tom Brady topic, claiming that Belichick is nothing without his superstar.

Thursday Night broadcasts attract different crowds and views are pretty inconsistent.

Belichick and his Patriots players will meet the Pittsburgh Steelers in this one. Let’s see how will the 2-10 Patriots handle this.
